Consultant, Guy’s Hospital and Senior Lecturer at King’s College London

Dr Moutzouris is a consultant nephrologist at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust since 2015. He is an honorary senior lecturer in the School of Medicine at King’s College London. He has completed his post-CCT fellowship in kidney transplantation in Imperial College London. His PhD work focused on the role of glucose transporters in human glomerular epithelial cells in diabetes. His clinical research was on the treatment of glomerular diseases. His special interests include management of CV disease of the transplant recipient pre and post transplantation and treatment of glomerular diseases. He is a PI for several NIHR and commercial studies on glomerular diseases and transplantation.
