Obstetrician Gynaecologist

Assistant Director in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, University of Nicosia Medical School

Short CV: Graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Medical School in 2004, and completed his training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2011. Since 2011 he is a consultant Obstetrician Gynaecologist at the OBGYN clinic at Archbishop Makarios III Hospital in Nicosia. He has subspecialized in prenatal diagnosis as well as gynaecological oncology. He holds Postgraduate Titles in Fetomaternal Medicine (intrauterine growth restriction), Female Reproduction (endometriosis) from the National Kapodistrian University of Athens as well as in Female Endocrinology (polycystic ovarian syndrome) and Diabetes (Diabetes during pregnancy) from the University of South Wales, UK. His research interests include gestational diabetes, preeclampsia, IUGR as well as cervical pathology. Since 2013 he is the lead tutor for P year students of the University of Nicosia Medical School, awarded the title of Clinical Associate Professor since 2017, while he is also a postgraduate tutor for medical training at the University of Cyprus Medical School and in Reproductive Medicine at the University of South Wales, UK. He is the co-ordinator for the Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO) courses in Cyprus as well as clinical seminars in co-operation with the University of Nicosia Medical School.
