Specialized in Pediatrics, Neonatology  and Neonatal Intensive Care at St Sophia University Children’s Hospital, Ippokration Hospital  in Greece, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London

PhD thesis: Chemotaxis and Bactericidal activity in healthy and stressed premature and full term neonates.

Research area is focused on:Epidemiology of Prematurity, Neonatal respiratory problems , Neonatal  immunology, Organization of Neonatal  Intensive Care, Breast feeding.

Special interest  in Neonatal  Neurology, Perinatal asphyxia .

 

PI in a range of clinical trials and has also been actively participating in numerous international and topical congresses as invited as speaker
