Δρ Μαρία Τσιτσκάρη

Dr Maria Tsitskari is a Lecturer of Radiology at the Medical School of the European University of Cyprus and Consultant of Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the Mediterannean Hospital.

She has completed her Radiology training and her Fellowship in Interventional Radiology in Attikon University Hospital of Athens. She holds the Diploma of the European Board of Inter-ventional Radiology, a MSc and a PhD in Interventional Radiology both from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Her basic science research has focused on the evaluation of the efficacy of new interventional techniques for the treatment of hepatic metastases in colorectal cancer patients .

She has presented her work in many National and International conferences including the Annual Meeting of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (CIRSE), the Annual Conference of European Society of Radiology (ESR) and the Annual Scientific Meeting of the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR). She has been awarded for three of her presentations. She has been an invited speaker and chair on topics related to Radiology and Interventional Radiology in numerous National and International Con-gresses.

She has authored publications in high impact factor peer-reviewed journals including the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology and the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology Journal. She serves as a reviewer in the CVIR Endovascular Journal.

She is a Member of different Subcommittees of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radi-ological Society and the European Society of Radiology of Europe and from 2015-2019 she was the representative of the young Interventional Radiologists and Trainees of Greece in the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe .
