Krister Cromm​

Krister Cromm champions initiatives for patient-reported measures and person-centered care within Fresenius Medical Care.

In 2010, he joined the Asia Pacific Medical Office in Hong Kong before establishing the Patient Experience function in Bad Homburg, Germany, in 2015, which has now evolved into Person-Centered Outcomes Research. Together with academic and industry partners, he received an EU Horizon 2020 grant for the CONVINCE consortium and is active in the International Society for Quality of Life Research (ISOQOL) and the European Health Psychology Society (EHPS). His research interests include the development of electronic patient-reported outcomes (ePROs), psychosocial determinants of health, measuring and improving of cognitive function and personal resilience in chronic disease.

Prior to joining Fresenius Medical Care, he worked for Bayer and Merck in various capacities. Krister holds a master’s degree in Chinese studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London, an MBA from the European School of Business, and a master’s degree in psychology from City University of Hong Kong. He is also a member of the Center for Patient-Centered Outcomes Research at Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin.
