Dr Agnieszka Swiecicka-Mitsides MD, MRCP UK, PhD is a Consultant Endocrinologist and Diabetologist and Associate Professor at the University of Nicosia Medical School. She completed her specialist training in endocrinology and diabetes in the United Kingdom in 2018 and has since practiced as a consultant in the UK and more recently in Cyprus. She is also a Clinical Andrologist accredited by the European Academy of Andrology.
Her main clinical and research interests include reproductive endocrinology, andrology, subfertility and the management of diabetes mellitus in the context of chronic kidney disease and post transplantation. She holds PhD in Endocrinology from the University of Manchester, UK for her research into the role of endocrine factors in unsuccessful ageing and frailty in men. Her work has been presented internationally and she has published a number of book chapters and research articles in peer reviewed journals within the areas of her interest.
