Dr. Siakallis (MD, MSc, MRes, EDiNR) has dedicated his studies and practice in neuroscience and neuroimaging, with a special interest in neurooncology and pediatric neuroradiology.

He received his Medical Degree from Aristotle University in Thessaloniki and following postgraduate studies received a Master of Research in experimental neuroscience from Imperial College London and a Master of Science in diagnostic and interventional radiology from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He completed his specialty training in Clinical Radiology at Attikon University Hospital (Athens, Greece) and subspecialty training in Neuroradiology at the National Hospital of Neurology and Neurosurgery (London, UK).

Subspecialization in neuroradiology was acquired following completion of the two-year Pan-London fellowship training programme organized by the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (NHNN). The fellowship training programme included dedicated placements at King’s College Hospital, Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, Moorfield’s Eye Hospital and Guy’s and St Thomas’s hospital. He also completed training in neuroradiology organized by the European Society of Neuroradiology (ESNR) and holds the European Diploma in Neuroradiology (EDiNR).

Dr Siakallis has been working as a consultant neuroradiologist since 2018. He reports remotely for the neuroradiology department of NHNN and is a researcher at the Queen Square Institute of Neurology, London. In Cyprus, he specialises in advanced imaging studies for the majority of patients with primary and metastatic brain tumors in collaboration with the clinical oncology team of the Bank of Cyprus Oncology Center. He is also a scientific collaborator of the neurology clinic of Cyprus national pediatric hospital (Archbishop Makarios Children’s Hospital). He teaches clinical radiology and neuroscience at the Medical school of the University of Cyprus and European University of Cyprus.
